One week live, zero downloads — the honest numbers

TimeCove has been live on Google Play for one week. The downloads so far: zero. Publicly stated, so it is on the record when it changes.

What the week actually contained

What zero downloads means

It does not mean the app is bad. It means there is no distribution. A listing with no installs, no ratings, and a brand nobody searches for is invisible by default — Google Play ranking needs install and conversion signals to even start. The honest sequence for an unknown indie is: fix searchability, seed the first 50–100 installs honestly, then let ranking and word of mouth compound.

What ships next

If you found this: hi. The journal is where the whole story gets written, including the parts that do not flatter me.
